FAQ
What is the intention of the London Osteopathic Society (LOS)?
LOS exists as a social and educational organisation through which members can exchange ideas, attend talks and socialise with others. Meetings are organised throughout the year at very little cost to attenders, and this is especially useful for osteopathy students, newly qualified osteopaths or those working as sole practitioners. Please see About Us for more.

Who is eligible to join?
Osteopaths and Osteopathy Students.

How can I join?
Visit our member portal. Please see For Members for more details.

Are LOS events only open to members?
Anyone is welcome, but osteopath and student members pay a greatly reduced rate. They receive notification of meetings, priority booking at pre-bookable events, and access to the
member portal.

How much does the membership cost?
It's £25/year for Osteopaths, and £10/year for Students. See Membership Options.

Where are the details of upcoming lectures?
The CPD & Events page or our member portal give the full diary of upcoming events.

Is it necessary to let you know in advance that I intend coming to a meeting?
Yes, as space and seats are limited.

And what if the event is sold out?
If the lecture is shown as fully booked on our membership portal page, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If I have any questions, suggestions or requests?
Please contact us.

I do not know my log in information for the site.
Previously, the login details for accessing the members' area of our website were provided by the LOS. Now, post-lecture presentations (from November 2023 onwards) are available exclusively to members in the "Posts" section of the LOS member portal (login required). To find out more visit our membership portal page.
