For Speakers
The London Osteopathic Society has experience in organising successful lectures since 1998, and we are keen to attract new speakers on a variety of topics that will prove of interest to our receptive and friendly membership. The society has hosted talks from consultants, osteopaths, doctors, researchers, business and legal professionals and other specialists who have information to impart. We’re anxious to do everything we can to encourage and assist potential speakers.
✅CDP events are held in various locations, and practical classes normally at osteopathic teaching institutions
✅1-hour lectures per speaker includes: introduction, lecture and Q&A at the end
✅Light refreshments are provided for participants following registration
✅Our objective is to provide quality content at reasonable cost and we aim to break even on finances. As a token of our gratitude we pay an honorarium to speakers (contact us)
✅Participation by businesses and those with a product, service or technique to promote is possible, but we do insist on some solid educational content in the session
✅Presentations are usually made in PowerPoint format and, where possible, we are grateful if these can be made available to us at the end of the evening. They are converted to pdf format and watermarked Authorial copyright. Distributed by LOS for personal use only
✅Standard Audio Visual equipment is supplied as standard, notably projector, screen and PET certificated laptop. You can let us know your exact requirements nearer the time
✅After each meeting members are invited to complete a short confidential survey
